New Product Development

Converting a post painted product to using prepainted material often provides the manufacturer with substantial inventory, environmental, worker safety and operational cost benefits.  Knowing who to call and how to convert may prevent additional new problems.  Sometimes the conversion takes years to provide a pay back and, if not done properly, sometimes not at all.  In the best case, the conversion places a strain on your organization and benefits are delayed through false starts and misinformation.  New Amsterdam knows new product development.  We know which coaters and suppliers are best equipped to accomplish a conversion with a minimum of delays and costly revisions.  Our experience also helps reduce lengthy qualification trials which disrupt production schedules.

Existing Products

Problems occur at coil coaters, coating manufacturers and metal producers.  Often times, the problems could be traced to some variation in their process which causes changes in their products; your raw materials.  These can be difficult to identify and quantify and the customer-supplier relationship could turn acrimonious while little gets accomplished to solve the problem.  This disruption to your manufacturing could affect your customer's queue which may endanger future business opportunities.  New Amsterdam staff members have solved literally thousands of such problems in their careers.  Oftentimes, just the presence of an independent third party gets the problem solving back on track.
